Talon’s line of power outlet panels are designed to meet the demands for temporary power at construction sites and recreational vehicle parks. For construction site applications, power outlet panels are installed for temporary use only until electrical power is available at the site. Recreational Vehicle parks use power outlet panels on a permanent basis as a power source for the RV’s distribution system. A wide variety of configurations are available to address almost any application. Design options include surface (pole mount) and pedestal mount construction, with or without meter socket provisions, and top or bottom feed.

This meter is used for single-phase power with one hot line and one neutral line. If you want to measure the circuit with 2 hot lines, you will need 2 meters, one for each line.

Precautions

1. Please make sure the AC input is Pure Sine Wave.(Municipal electric power is pure sine wave). Please don’t use the meter to measure AC power converterd from a DC-AC inverter UNLESS you can make sure the output from your DC-AC inverter is Pure Sine Wave. This is very importatnt.

It accommodates multiple wiring configurations for a size hub provision in the top end wall and a 2-1/2 in. Maximum knockout in the bottom end-wall. The meter main uses an aluminum bus, is single phase, three wires, and features a nema 3R rated enclosure for outdoor use. This unit is ansi certified and ul listed for use as service entrance equipment with a maximum load of 60˚compatible with #2/0˚connectors maximum line and load conductor and neutral.

PLEASE NOTE: No external current transformers are needed with this meter. The CTs are inside the meter already. Wires pass through the body of the meter and through the internal current transformers. Do NOT buy additional current transformers with this meter, even if Amazon says that they are frequently bought together.

Compact, very easy to install design. Simple DIN-rail mounting. Wires pass through 3/8+” diameter tubes in the meter body–Will accept #3AWG insulated wire. The only electrical connection is made by 2 small screws which penetrate the wire insulation and pick up power–less than 1 watt–to power the meter.
